Although many people think Siargao is overrated, in my opinion, it can pretty much hold its own against other well-known destinations in the country. With the rise of Siargao Island to fame came hotels and resorts popping up one after the other to accommodate the ever-growing number of tourists coming to visit the island. But the question is, “Which ones among them are worth it?” In this article, I will be narrowing the list down to the top-rated hotels in Siargao to make your hunt for the ideal accommodation easier.
1. Kalipay Resort Siargao
Kalipay Resort Siargao got a 9.3 rating from 140 reviews in Agoda. It is conveniently located near the attractions, bars, and dining options in General Luna. The rates range anywhere from ₱5000+ – ₱7000+ for a spacious and airconditioned room that can accommodate up to four (4) people and comes with amenities such as cable TV, a fridge, a minibar, and drinking water. All rooms are also provided with a fast WIFI connection. The resort also has a swimming pool which you can use on days when you don’t feel like going out to explore the island. If you’re looking for a villa type of accommodation with a quiet and peaceful environment then better stay at Sandy Feet Siargao. It’s located along Malinao Road which is a good distance away from the party scene in General Luna. A big plus is that each villa has its own WIFI internet which guarantees a safe and reliable connection.
6. Tropical Temple Siargao Resort
Tropical Temple Siargao Resort is one of the most flexible top-rated hotels in Siargao as it can accommodate visitors with varying preferences and budgets. It has mixed dorms that cost ₱700+ and deluxe rooms with rates starting from ₱3000+. The resort provides an aesthetic stay that is perfect for the gram which probably contributed to the 8.5 rating from 400+ reviewers.
7. The Broken Board
The Broken Board is one of the rare finds on the island as it’s affordable but still gives you that tropical island bliss Siargao is known for. Perhaps, this is why visitors gave it a 9.1 out of the 165 reviews in Agoda. Its fan room that is spacious enough and comes with a queen size bed is priced at ₱1200. The shared toilet and bath shouldn’t be a cause for dismay as it’s well-maintained. You can also get your coffee or cook your meals in their shared kitchen.
8. Siargao Bleu Resort and Spa
Arguably has one of the best views and facilities on Siargao Island for a price less than most establishments with similar service. It received a 7.9 score from over 600 people in Agoda but none of the reviews said awfully negative. This resort prides itself on its pool with the ocean as the backdrop. People also rave about their food and how chill it is to lounge in their bar at night .

The Hillside Resort Siargao provides a refreshing contrast to the typical vibe offered by most resorts on the island. Instead of the sea, it offers a view of the countryside, giving visitors a glimpse of the other side of Siargao. This uniqueness earned them an 8.6 rating from 260 reviews.
10. Mad Monkeys Hostel Siargao
Mad Monkeys Hostel Siargao is your typical backpacker hostel. It’s where you go if you’re looking to find pool parties, endless booze, great food, and to meet people from different walks of life. This hostel embodies the very vibe the island used to have, simple and laidback but with fun and unforgettable nights. This is no fancy accommodation as they only offer a bed in shared dormitories for as low as ₱500+.
